About This Workshop

In this workshop we will be making personalized handmade paper that can be used in decorations, collage, prints, cards, writing paper, books, and even sculpture. In fact, we will use the sheets of paper next week in the Collagraph Workshop on March 23. This week we will start off making paper sheets from pulp made from cotton, recycled paper, and plant materials. Next, we will move to explore expressive qualities of papermaking by using embedding, embossing, and laminating methods. Leave with the knowledge of how to make paper and the ability to continue the process at home. You could also use handmade paper to make prints, so consider signing up for Collagraphs with Handmade Paper as well!
