About the Workshop

Participants will learn how to create repeating patterns using Photoshop and do some hands-on printing of their own designs. Screen printing is a versatile process with non-toxic inks.

Before the Class:

Participants will get an email from Kiley with details about designing their wrapping paper pattern. Please read this email carefully! Drawings must be sent to the instructor by November 14th! If drawings aren’t sent before then, the participant will print one of Kiley’s ready-made designs.

Day 1: 1pm-5pm

Participants will watch a demonstration of pattern-creation with Kiley in the studio, print transparencies, expose their screens, and learn about registration. This session may end early depending on

Day 2: 10am - 5pm (1 hour lunch break)

Participants will prep and print their designs onto sheets of blank wapping paper.
Each participant will get to leave the workshop with multiple sheets of 24 x 30 inch wrapping paper. Designs will be printed on brown kraft-colored paper. Black or White Ink will be provided. If participants wish to use different colored paper or ink, they are welcome to bring their own!

About the Instructor

Kiley Kuntz is the Studio Director of Whiteaker Printmakers. She has a bachelors degree in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design and has been printmaking since 2018. Kiley’s work is fun and whimsical, often including inspiration from vintage illustration.

Before her position as Studio Director, Kiley had worked as a graphic designer for over seven years, creating printed and digital materials.

Register and pay in full to reserve your spot. To cancel a workshop enrollment, please email studio@whitprint.com.

All cancellations for workshops will incur a $50.00 administrative fee. Your refund will reflect this fee.

Full refunds (minus the cancellation fee) will be offered if cancellation is made at least 4 weeks before the workshop.

A 50% refund (minus the cancellation fee) will be issued if a cancellation request is made at least 1 week before the workshop.

No refund will be given for cancellation requests made week-of the workshop. There are no refunds after the first session of the workshop.
