Botanicals & Bugs!

March 4th - June 3rd

Have you been feeling uninspired or in a creative stump? Whiteaker Printmakers is hosting a Print Prompt for each season with a peer feedback meeting & deadline to keep your creativity flowing. There’s no pressure to complete the prints, it’s just a way to inspire fellow artists!

There are no size or medium requirements. All you need is to feel inspired by the theme!

In-Person Meetings:

Wednesday March 4th — 1pm- 2pm: Introduction to new Prompt and chat about work!
Wednesday June 3rd — 1pm - 2pm: Sharing work with each other and thinking of a new prompt!
*Members of the studio get monthly meetings for progress feedback

About the Prompt

Botanicals are plants or parts of plants that are often known for their therapeutic, medicinal, aromatic, or flavoring properties.

Bugs are… bugs! Fun fact: Bugs make up over half of all known animal species! That’s a lot to pull inspiration from, and many of them are vital to our ecosystem.

Members of Whiteaker Printmakers will showcase prints at the end of the season!
